  7.          The Lightwave Utilities distribution diskette may be 
  8.          duplicated and distributed without compensation as long as 
  9.          the diskette is an exact duplicate of the Lightwave Utilities 
  10.          distribution diskette.  All other distribution is strictly 
  11.          prohibited. 
  12.          
  13.          Lightwave suggests that you make a copy of the distribution 
  14.          diskette before you get started.  
  15.          
  16.          You may use either the DOS COPY or DISKCOPY command to copy 
  17.          the distribution diskette.  Lightwave Utilities is perfectly 
  18.          at home in hard disk systems. 
  19.  
  20.          To check the accuracy of this diskette, enter the command 
  21.          CHECK *.* at the DOS prompt.  The output from this command 
  22.          must match the file CHECK.TXT.  
  23.          
  24.          The programs available on Release 1.0 are:
  25.          
  26.               WHERE    - a program that looks through all the 
  27.                          directories in a drive for a named file.  
  28.                          Filenames and wildcards are accepted. 
  29.  
  30.               LS       - a program that gives a sorted, columned list 
  31.                          of files in a directory.  Wildcards and paths 
  32.                          are accepted.
  33.          
  34.               DR       - also gives a sorted, columned list, but 
  35.                          includes file sizes.  For drives A and B 
  36.                          only.  Drive name is accepted.
  37.          
  38.          Several of the utilities are written in BASIC.  To access 
  39.          these, enter:

  41.               BASICA MENU
  42.          
  43.          You can select from the menu to do the following.  When 
  44.          complete, you will be returned to the menu. 
  45.  
  46.                 1.  Show me all the screen attributes.
  47.                 2.  Show me all the screen characters.
  48.                 3.  Find all the active memory in my PC.
  49.                 4.  Tell me when my BIOS chip was designed.
  50.                 5.  Tell me when my BASIC chip was designed.
  51.                 6.  Show me the keyboard status bits.
  52.                 7.  Perform percent change calculations for me.
  53.  
  54.                 8.  Return to DOS.
